“The light of the world, the salt of the earth...”  The lyrics of this rhythmic anthem are based on Matthew 5: 13–16 and Isaiah 38: 7–10.  It is a tonal piece in the key of G and includes some fun choral effects.  Two verses, a repeating chorus (with variations) and a contrasting bridge, six pages.  Easy voice ranges: bass, G to G; tenor, D to E; alto A to A; soprano B to D.
